CPPL 2026 Our Stories Project Awards Ceremony & Film Festival

This summer at the Carleton Place Public Library, we challenged the teens in Carleton Place and Beckwith to create short films starring seniors in our community. They worked hard all summer interviewing, filming, and editing, and now we invite you to experience the stories, memories, and connections they’ve brought to the screen.

Join us on Saturday, October 10th, 2026, from 4:00 – 5:30 PM at the Carleton Place town hall for the CPPL Our Stories Project awards ceremony & film festival! We will be watching three fantastic short films created by intergenerational teams in the community and celebrating those who created and starred in them. Admission is free, and everyone is welcome.
